Welcome to the CUNY School of Law DACA Guide page. We have collected open-source and copyright-protected resources for advocates working within the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Open-source materials are available to the general public. Due to contractual limitations some materials are available only to CUNY Law Faculty, Staff and Students. This guide was prepared by Kristen Zapalac (Class 2016) under the supervision of Professor Julie Lim.

Please note that if there are two links, one is live and the other one is a perma link, which captures the screen of the site on that date it was done.

DACA: Status

The status of expanded DACA/ DAPA is uncertain given the presidential election; the initial iteration of DACA remains in place for now.

However, on February 10, Mr. Rameriz, a 23-year-old "DREAMer", was taken in to custody by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)., although he has legal status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
